Overview

EventMobi helps event organizers create mobile apps for their conferences and events. I led design for a new event app platform that would scale to support thousands of events.

The Problem

Event planners needed an easy way to create branded mobile apps for their events without technical knowledge. Existing solutions were either too limited or required developer resources that most event planners didn't have.

The Solution

I conducted interviews with event planners to understand their needs and workflows. Based on this research, I created a product roadmap with leadership and designed a platform that let organizers build full-featured event apps through a simple web interface. I also worked with engineering to develop a CSS framework that ensured consistent implementation.

Results

  • Launched a new event app platform from concept to production
